BF904 Oak Sloping Fronted Bureau

Finest quality handmade bureau with a sloping front shown in medium "fume" English oak. The lower cupboards have one internal shelf. Our carved "Beaver" trademark can be found on both the "pull-outs" which support the writing desk when it is lowered. This bureau top has a planed finish which has has been treated with polyurethane lacquer to provide protection against heat and spills but may be oiled or waxed.

The bureau can be custom-made to order and is also available on feet, with a single or 4 panels in the cupboard doors and turned plain knobs.  Optional extras may include tooled leather topped writing desk, pigeon holes, wrought iron fittings or an adzed finish to the top.
